Buy group membership in your own country before departure, and get 10% discount! Groups of min. 20 persons are welcome to pre-order lunch and dinner at reasonable prices. Seminar rooms with facilities available for max 80 persons. We promise you a clean and modern hostel, with good service and home-made norwegian food!

Kongsberg is the Silver and Skiing Town! It was built on silver mining from 1624, and is surrounded by hills and mountains. Many cultural monuments originating from its wealthy silver mining period. The Numedalslågen River, with its impressive waterfalls, ﬂows through the town centre, and the surrounding countryside is a joy to explore - summer as winter. The town’s character reﬂects its mining culture and skiing history, which can also be experienced in the Silver Mines, the museums and the magniﬁcent baroque church towering near the youth hostel. 18-holes golf facilities just outside town. The hostel has a large, free parking area.

2009: With group members card: From NOK 240,- pr. bed pr. night, incl. a high quality Norwegian breakfast. Single- / double rooms from NOK 530,- / 325,- pr. pers/night. Bedlinen + towels must be rented for NOK 65,- pr. pers. Private linen or sleeping bags are not permitted.
